Good evening Eagle families.

We hope you had a nice weekend. We have a busy week at East Bay. Be sure to check our event flyer so you stay in the loop. We are excited for Battle of the Books on Monday. This Thursday is Librarian Appreciation Day. We love our fantastic Librarian Mrs. Evans. She reads stories with our elementary students and engages our middle schoolers with fun activities, while hosting bookfairs, literacy week, and paving the way for East Bay's resent distinction as a Florida Power-Library School. Mrs. Evans LEADS the way! Remember: No school on Friday, April 3rd.

Here are a few reminders:
*The Controlled Open Enrollment transfer period for Santa Rosa County will begin on April 3rd and go through May 18th. Beginning April 3rd you can access the Transfer Form, the 26-27 School Choice Plan and the 26-27 Controlled Open Enrollment Capacity Chart on our school district’s website under school choice. Directions for completing the transfer form and submitting it can also be found on the district’s website. Parents without internet can pick up a paper copy from the front office. If you have questions regarding the transfer process, please contact your student’s Grade Level Director at 850 983-5150.
*March 31st FAST Testing officially begins and continues through May. The testing calendar is attached and is on our website. Please review your child's testing dates carefully so you can plan accordingly. During testing please remember:
1. Checkouts: If you check out your student during a testing session, you may be asked to wait until they have completed their PM3 test. Checkouts should be limited to emergencies only. Once a student has started a test, it must be completed at that time.
2. Electronics: All electronic devices—including smartwatches, phones, and similar items—are not permitted in testing rooms. Students must power off and store these devices before testing begins. If you need to relay an urgent message to your student during testing, please contact the front office at 850-750-0134.

🥞🦅 A Delicious Lesson in Etiquette! 🦅🥞

East Bay’s middle school careers classes wrapped up their professional business etiquette unit in style today—with a fun and memorable “fine dining” pancake feast!

Students had the opportunity to put their skills into practice in a real-world setting, learning the importance of manners, presentation, and professionalism… all while enjoying a great meal!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible PST volunteers who served as cooks, hosts, and servers—your support made this experience truly special for our students! 💙

We also want to extend our appreciation to Sexton’s Event Company for providing the beautiful table settings that helped bring the “fine dining” experience to life.

What an amazing way to turn learning into something meaningful (and delicious)!
